Yeah, I know that I can't and don't want to end up in the same position she's in. She's been having to ask for money since not long after she actually moved out. I don't want that. My parents have had to spend enough money on us over the years, it's time they actually be able to spend some on themselves without having to worry that they'll need to pay their daughter's rent or buy her food. Siiigh. I want to be the responsible daughter! Prove that I can do it! I just need money to do that. More money than I have.

I can only wish my sister the best of luck. We'll see how things are in a year.

Yeah, exactly. I see moving out as cutting all financial ties with your parents except when they visit and want to treat you to dinner or get you something special for Christmas. I don't see the reason in getting out the house and moving if you can't afford it. :/ I know what you mean though, wanting to be responsible one and show everyone you can do things on your own.
