If I understood the abstract correctly, the paper is about the technical difficulties in running an occult library. As in: how to create an accurate catalogging system since the books are, by their very nature, difficult to classify. I thought it was a fascinating challenge...

Of course, it also gives me ideas for a Toon game of Scooby-Doo-like game set in an occult library... "Dean Withers, it was you along!"
