I got very lucky over the fic holiday season. My recipient oparu did not think I was stark, raving, mad to write her a Star Trek: TNG / The Good Wife crossover. (Or if she did, she was too polite to say so!)

I even got a rec! If I were planning to be buried rather than cremated, "second-best crossover of Yuletide 2013" could go on my tombstone!

You do not know Opal at all if you think that she would object to that crossover! It may well be stark raving mad but in the best possible way. This delights me (that you are the author, I mean). I've bookmarked the story for reading when I can.

Whilst in beta I did joke with randomizer that besides the two of us and (hopefully) Oparu, YOU might be the only other person on the internet who would appreciate this fic! I hope you enjoy it when you get time!

You are so welcome once again! It's a real pleasure to have written something that I would not have written without you as the recipient, but that I'm also so pleased with. Getting recced was icing. I don't think a first Yuletide could go better! :-)

I'm kind of amazed how well fic-writing has been going for me since having my second baby in July -- it's been a productive period for me despite the time constraints.
