The Bible is going to go against the ways of the world. "All scripture is God breathed" even if it doesn't make sense. Personally, I have found quite a few things in the Bible that I couldn't make heads or tails of, but we aren't supposed to be able to know everything (regardless of how much you and I would love to be able to figure everything out). As far as 1 Corinthians goes, it's talking about sexual immorality as in having sex with someone other than your spouse or having it before marriage. Corinth, in that day, was quite known for this lack of morality and the point of being moral was so strongly pressed because the Corinthian Christians were surrounded with temptation. Corinth was having a real problem back then

sry peeps... but the bible constantly contradicts itself... example: it says that God forgives the sins of humans.. yet he sends those that sin into the fiery pit of hell.... also... God punished Adam and Eve when they sinned and didnt give them a chance to apologize... but if we repent for our sins we get to enter into heaven....
hmm...
and what is with Jesus dying for our sins... but we can still be punished for them....
when God knows everything...then why did he put sin in front of us in the first place...
puts me in the mind of a kid on top of an ant hill with a microscope......

God didn't put sin in front of us. What happened in the garden wasn't suppose to happen. "the serpent" aka "satin" aka "the dragon" planten it there, so to take away our way of life and to have our souls. God, all holy, Couldn't exceped sin, even as sorry as we were. God had to lead us away from the garden so that we would not become self exsorbed. If you look at it all GOd wanted was something to talk to and to have by him, So He created us in his imaege to talk too. We where there for Him and by Him
