For some reason I've always wanted to know what it's like to be in a long koma and wake up like years later. I would've tried to get myself in one, except the whole possible death thing has prevented me. I may be strange enough to get myself into a coma, but I don't wanna kill myself

my german sucks ass..ill bet you a thousand dollars yours is ten times better than mine! im disappointed that i didnt learn as much as i could/should have. o well. too late now. meghan

your german is probably better than mine too. i think their (experiment's) definition of fluency is differnet than what mine was...it's apparently not about knowing all of the words and expressions that the natives do, but about being able to say what you think and to get around in conversations with german words, albeit no matter how strange you sound. so apparently just managing in the language is fluency...but i could still flunk german next year in college and say "but I'm fluent!"
