Cavil wouldn't have got out of the CIC. No way in hell to get out alive. Kara's an angel, like the "virtual 6" and "virtual Baltar." Totally makes sense, if there's no microchip in Baltar's head and he's not crazy... divine voice. "GOD" is a common noun, not a proper one. It'd be like someone calling you "him" all the time. Why does someone have to die? I agree, that part makes no fucking sense. The mixture of hybrids cylons and humans starts with Hera.
Don't be disappointed. Take it and love it. Not every story can have a finale like Cowboy Bebop. :P
Having never seen Cowboy Bebop, I'm guessing it had a really good ending. >_<
I'm disappointed because up until the beginning of Season 4, I was utterly convinced that this was the best show ever to have been made. Now I see that I was very wrong. They could have done so much. And instead, I'm left with an ending so crappy that I feel -I-, personally, could've done better.
I'm afraid in this circumstance, I can't just 'take it and love it' because at this point, I simply can't take it at all. It was pathetic.
Hmm. Found myself thinking more.scian_ashleyderMarch 22 2009, 00:10:49 UTC
It does not make sense for a machine, especially one so tuned to logic and odds, to end its own existence when a chance, even a miniscule one, of continued survival exists. IE trying netted him a better chance of survival than suicide, so why did he do it
( ... )
Hey, I caught it before I read too much, but can you please put this behind a cut with spoiler warnings. Not everyone has seen it yet. That way those who have and want to discuss can click on it and those who haven't yet won't be spoiled for when they watch it.
