Very interesting article, and here I was thinking it was about butt piracy! It has been concerning me how there's been hardly any stories from the perspective of the pirates, finding out their motives and demands. It's mostly been hostage taken -> negotiations failed -> Boom! Headshot!

That said, it is the Huffington Post :P

But interesting perspective nonetheless. It'll be interesting to see if any of the MSM try to pursue the claims in the article.

There have been some good privateers/pirates overtime who have stood up for rights and freedom and then there are the pirates who were labeled so by opposing countries and they claimed the right to kill/pillage/plunder under letters of mark, but all that having been said, for the most part and especially currently pirates are not the romanticized swash-buckling anti-heroes that this reporter as many others before them and stories want to believe. If they had done what they did on any other vehicles they are terrorists, this is no different.

Looking at the facts and the actual world and knowing stuff from friends in the military articles like this piss me off and get ranked up there with the holocaust/moon landing never happened posts.
