I swear I am in the habit of writing stuff most people won't read. :) Anyways, here is a fic for Saiunkoku, which everyone should watch (you have to get past the very pretty pink of it and realize that the first arc is somewhat misleading...there's some crazy political court politics that go on later rather than the pretty pretty romance stuff

Thank you for this excellent fanfic! Ryuuki can always use more love, both in-series and in-fandom . . . and you've done an excellent job in bringing out the conflict between his personal self and his position. You've also brilliantly captured the sadness of his current situation. I wonder how it will all be resolved? At the moment it's quite hard for me to bear . . .

But it's wonderful to see a talented new author in the fandom, and I hope you will continue to write more fics (and especially fics concerning Ryuuki, who is in my opinion sadly neglected! ::huge Ryuuki fan::).

Yeah for more lovers of Ryuuki!

I find him both adorable and tragic. It really takes some kind of individual to hold up any semblance of self under those circumstances, particularly when you were neither prepared to take the position nor had any real hope of taking it on. And it is not as if they cut him any slack.

My personal thought is that our dear friend the purple immortal is going to try something. Or, there is the fact that, although Shuurei won't be an official anymore, she still has allies all over in positions of power (more than Ryuuki probably has).

But we'll see if she actually takes up the position, since the censorate is the only people who have the power to call the higher level officials on the crazy shenanigans going on...

I have a few ideas for a couple more fics, let's see if I have time. :)

His entire situation is tragic, and it only ever seems to get worse. Even commanding Shuurei to marry him . . . he was forced into it, but it seems that those around him are saying it was the wrong choice to make. But not doing it was also wrong. It seems like no matter what he does, it's somehow wrong . . . so he loses both personally and politically.

I don't know if the purple immortal will do anything . . . he hasn't done much thus far, and seems content to let the Emperor succeed or fail on his own merits. He supports the Emperor, but doesn't really interfere, or at least that's been my impression thus far . . .

I hope you will write the other fics that you're thinking of, though of course I understand about not having time (I'm rather lacking in it myself, lately). Especially because there are so few out there featuring Ryuuki!

I'm so glad i'm only a few chapters behind at the moment because there were some big spoilors in there! (Which was nice because there doens't seem to be many fics out there that reference to the latest LNs)

It's also nice to see someone writing about the conflict Ryuuki has between Himself and the emperor.

Poor Ryuuki though D:
