If you ever watched The Muppet Show as a kid (I watched re-runs of it, because I'm not sure I watched normal children's programming...), go see the new Muppets movie. Some parts of it were seriously soda squirting out of nose hilarious...and there is this one cameo (I won't spoil it) that it is simply and perfectly awesomeAlso, I need to write

Fwee, I'll prompt you some Dr. Who. =D Martha, during the time when the Master had taken over and she spent the year doing her covert thing, um really just anything on how she managed to go on.
There's an asian version of What Women Want that looks hilarious. Haven't had a chance to watch yet. I'm sure you've seen Shall We Dance? but just in case... great one. God of Cookery is hilarious with Stephen Chow. There's also another good romance comedy but I can't think of the name... Mr. Perfect I think? Korean I believe....

Oh God. Whenever the Mahna mahna song starts it gets stuck in my head completely and totally for like an hour. Even now it is solidly there and I am having to make a conscious effort not to sing it out loud. AND THE CAMEO! :D :D :D
Doctor Who! Its been so long. This will give me an excuse to go watch some more Martha. Martha is so awesomesauce.
I actually haven't seen Shall We Dance. Its pretty much perpetually on my queue. But all of those other ones sound awesome. I keep watching total downers...and I think it is a Chinese drama rule that at least someone goes mad. And, if you're in the mood for something long, serious, and a little bit bizarre, check out Farewell My Concubine.
Also, HI!

I think the Muppet Movie is one that would have more of the adults laughing than the kids. Seriously though, when Mrs. Piggie become such a feminist?
If you are still taking drabble requests I am going to request Ouran. In honor of the english release of the mad dash to the airport and Haruhi's confession can you do a crack Tamaki reaction to said confession?
That or placing Haruhi in the roll of Rapunzel from Tangled a la Alice in Wonderland?

I can recommend the Infernal Affairs trilogy, Sympathy for Lady Vengeance, and Breaking News. These Asian movies are not exactly lovely (I saw them all in an "Asian Horror Movies" program at a film fest) but they are awesome.
Also, Godzilla 2000. It is epic. I don't remember ever laughing that much in the cinema :D
(Most of these should come with a list of warnings, though, specially Lady Vengeance.)
