I had not seen a lunar eclipse in a few years and it was an awesome one tonight.  I even got A.J. out of bed, bundled him up, and took him outside to witness the eclipse.  He thought it was cool but got cold and didn't want to watch the Earth move on by the moon.  I tried to snap some pics with the new camera but I could not get the ISO to change ( Read more... )

We have had the worst month or so.  It just seems like nothing goes our way and that when it rains, it literally pours.  Our luck has just ran out and everything seems to be falling on us.  It was bad enough that we had to use our entire savings to pay off the Highlander but the unfortunate events did not stop there.  It may seem petty to some but ( Read more... )

 I have been saying that I was going to quit smoking for years but over the summer A.J. asked me to quit.  I tried on my own with no success and when I went to the doctor last month I asked her to write me a prescription for Chantix, the quit smoking pill.  I kept it until last week and got it filled.  I was afraid our insurance would not cover it ( Read more... )
