A reader alerted me to the fact that Leonard Nimoy is retiring. Here are some Vulcan Salutes rendered in ASCII:

The first Vulcan Salute in ASCII is generic--I've seen it before in .sigs. The individual who invented the last two versions of the ASCII Vulcan Salute asks for attribution, and I'm happy to give attribution:

Star Trek was one of the first games out for the Apple II. K for klingon E for Enterprise. All in basic. (tape) (5.25)

This was updated to IIgs one later.

One interactive story about Star Trek (5.25)

I have not come across any Take1 home made movies of Star Trek.

The sounds of Star Trek were converted into to Rsounds which were used in the IIgs GS/OS for different events. You needed a little more memory if you were going to use them with a HD. (3.5)

Some one made a bunch of Hyper Studio stacks about The next Generation about all of the shows. About 6 or 7 3.5 disks if you do not use a HD.

Some even put some of the shows on a 3.5 disk. You only had about a 30 seconds or less of the show on a disk. Have one disk about the Tin Man.

Take Care
