It's been one of those weeks. Little to zero motivation. This coupled with the desire to drop out of school and move to the mountains (preferably Montana) leads to little work being done. Sometimes I really don't want to do this research thing any more. It sounds so appealing to just open up a coffee/book/fly shop and be able to hike, kayak, fly

I would rather spend 12 hours in the lab than 12 hours doing a lot of other things (*cough* class *cough*). But still, I have this desire to run from academia. To run from tenure-grubbing and grading and grant-begging and publishing.
ditto; that's why I'm not running off to grad school to get my Ph.D asap.
