What will happen to my facebook page when I die?

UPDATE: Found this on the terms page:

"When we are notified that a user has died, we will generally, but are not obligated to, keep the user's account active under a special memorialized status for a period of time determined by us to allow other users to post and view comments."

I've actually wondered about that before, as well as what will happen to my lj. I'd like my facebook account to be erased, personally. Keeping it around is just creepy. My lj I'd like to still exist, even if no one ever reads it. It should be made friends-only, though.

I should probably put this in writing somewhere so that if I die unexpectedly, my wishes will get carried out.... That would take effort, though....

It would also take "writing down the password and updating it." Though I guess LJ would let your executors have access, if it was in your will...

I started thinking about this after I learned that D'unte Brown had died. Then, there was the shooting that occured in Chapel Hill a few days ago. Upon learning the identity of the victim, I noticed that I couldn't find her facebook page.

I think I'd want to keep my facebook page. I'm not sure about my lj, though. Maybe someone may get some comfort reading through my past angst (ok, so there's not that much angst), but I doubt it. A girl I dated in high school died a few years ago, and her lj is still up. I read through it once, and was kinda sad to realize how little I had stayed in touch with her.
