according to the new definition of a planet, it has to be the main body in it's orbit. Pluto is in Neptune's orbit, therefore not a planet.

Pluto: They said it's not a planet anymore. Which is especially sad for us Kansans, because Pluto was discovered by a Kansan and we don't have much to be proud of. also, apparently one of the requirements for a planet is being round, which Pluto isn't. so yeah. It's sad. Now I'm going to have to unlearn my planets.

yeah I was kinda ticked about Pluto when I read about it...I don't care, in my mind we still have 9 planets in are solar system; specially since that's how it will always be in star trek... :p
