Yesterday was pretty rad!

I found out that I got 73% on my Anatomy lab midterm, which was 40% better than the first time I took the class. The only reason why I remember that is because my lab midterm and lecture midterms last year were 30-something percent and 50-something percent, respectively; they then reversed for my lab final and lecture ( Read more... )

Friday was a decent day, we talked all about Cerebrovascular Accidents (strokes) in class. Entirely fascinating stuff! I finally know the difference between an ischemic stroke (blood clot), and a hemorrhagic stroke (pressure causes blood vessel to rupture). You can guess which one would be worse ( Read more... )

This past weekend was rad for studying; I got 5 hours done on Saturday night and 4 hours done on Sunday night. Though it took me 6 hours each day to get started, I found it easy to "get into the groove" when I set my interval timer. Study for 1 hour, break for 10 minutes. I didn't doddle because I wanted to get as much done in that hour as possible ( Read more... )
