Jury duty continued

Note: I just noticed some typos in the last one. I totally left out a really important instance of the word 'not' in the first paragraph after the lines, so maybe you want to re-read that. I've probably done similar here ( Read more... )

It's been a while since I've made it, so I might have done it wrong. I didn't use much, did not add sugar and possibly put in too much water. Also they only had skim milk.

Yeah sounds like a recipe for DISASTER! You want ~40% milk, and milk as fatty as possible. On the other hand, not adding sugar was the right thing to do.

I implore you to give Milo another chance!

Sure. I will also change my statement to the more specific "This Milo is disappointing". And will also capitalise Milo, like the proper noun it is.

It's good that you didn't have to do any more jury stuff.

A good milo requires at least 2 teaspoons per mug. At least! Weak milo is like weak coffee. Bad.

I have a maximum of three coffees per day. Usually two, unless I go to my parents house for dinner and have a coffee afterwards. But their coffee is weaker than mine.

Hey when are you coming to Perth again? We miss you here.

A sound follow-up to part 1!

I wonder if I ever get called for jury duty..I was selected by computer to be on the teacher jury this year. It was excellent: free meals, hotel, $400. $36 doesn't seem like much for all that you had to go through!!!!

By the way, I noticed that you're reading Donna Tartt. I have "The Little Friend", which was quite gripping but the narrative went nowhere. I started reading "The Secret History" ages ago but never finished it. Is it any good? Justin was a big fan of that book!

Yeah, I'm kinda liking it. I can see why Justin would've too.

$36 isn't that great, but work has to pay me the difference between that and what I would've earned working. So that's ok.
