not much has been reported about him, so it's all just theory... but if he is an overseas honors student, he could well have been under a lot of pressure without any support... some of these kids come from poor families and they sacrifice everything so the brilliant child can go overseas and get a good education, to bring money home for the family.
it's a lot of pressure when your future is riding on your exam results... I can't imagine the pressure of your whole family's future riding on your exam results... especially when your education is in a second language, far from home where you may not know anyone...
but it could have been something personal... I think we just need to wait and see...
