There was no hate now, but it would come. She knew it would. Right now, there was nothing. Her fear had given way to a distant sort of numbness, her breathing deep and her hands steady. It wouldn't last.
For awhile she'd debated going straight back to her hut, but being alone didn't appeal to her right now and so she was currently in New Atlantis, going around to the back of Teyla's hut where she knew she would find Rodney. At least she was aware enough not to sneak up on him this time and she stood in front of the computers for a moment before she said, "Rodney."

There was definitely something wrong in her expression and the only thing he could think was Oh, God, what have I done now? But she didn't look angry, as such. He'd seen that expression before, somewhere, but he couldn't place it right then.
"You okay? You look like you've just seen a ghost."

If she'd been slightly more aware she might have realized that she wasn't making any sense, she wasn't explaining anything clearly, but it had been difficult enough to try to explain it once. Having seen it again, having to watch it a second time, it was all Jill could do to keep herself together. "Mayko and I. We saw it," she explained quietly, dropping her hands to her sides for a moment before she began to twist her ring around her finger in a slow, calming motion.

"Slow down," he said, touching her shoulder. Shock. That's what it was, she was in shock. He'd seen it in his teammates, hell, he'd gone through it himself a few times. "One thing at a time. Who was here on the beach?"
