1. I hated arithmetic as a child and hated math with a passion. It figures that I'd grow up and have "biostatistician" as one of my job titles. Math, I try to elude you, but your long, thin, cold fingers always reach me.
2. I LOVE Dinuguan (this is in keeping with andie519's theme of Filipino foods). This is a meal made from cooked pig's blood. Since I was a phlebotomist (blood drawer) at a hospital once, and worked the graveyard shift during this job, I figured all of these three facts together confirm the fact that I am indeed a vampire (likes blood, and takes blood out of people in the middle of the night).
3. I play with my wedding ring a lot when I talk to other people or just staring at the empty space above me, thinking. I don't know why, I guess I just love the texture of it and the way it feels when I turn it around my ring finger.
4. I may be friendly and chatty and always make sure I see/talk/contact friends that I value on a regular basis. But my ideal day always seem to revolve around a lazy day on the couch either watching movies all day or immersing myself in a book. So surprisingly, this qualifies me as an introvert.
5. If I had spare time, I would love to renew my love affair with photography. I cannot write worth a damn, cannot draw a stick figure to save my life, cannot sing in tune, and dance like spaz. But lenses enables my analytical/mental self to finally explore an infinitesimally small artistic side of me.
6. I love to travel. I want nothing more than to add to the list of countries that I have been. One of the only two regrets I have in life was when I turned down a chance to go to Hong Kong for a stupid meeting. I should have just gone, stupid, stupid, stupid.
7. Self-depreciating humor gets me every time. It's my fave type of humor, especially when I'm delivering the punchlines.
