Would you make a tutorial one of these days? Share your secrets?

*Blushes* well they're really not secrets and I'd be happy to share :) I just need to keep a log of all the stages needed to make an icon. I haven't done that before so I need to remember to keep a track XD

I may do a quick poll to see who uses what applications ie GIMP, Photoshop, MS Paint etc as this would effect the tutorial.

One community I swear by though is icon_tutorial It has tutorials for beginners through to advanced makers and covers all art packages. It has a good resource section in the "Memories" section there too. I wouldn't be without it :)

These are stunning and really bring out his wild, dark side. Love the last two, especially. He's just so elemental and separate somehow. Lost in his own world.

*Tacklehugs you* ^_^ That means alot coming from a fellow artist who likes to experiment! I know what you mean about the last 2 though, he could be past, present or future. The boy is versatile I tell ya ^_^

Your experiments tend to work better than mine, though ::g:: And I would never dream of comparing my doodles to your art; I don't really make icons; I just crop and brighten, which anyone can do. I've pored over tutorials but I get lost. I don't use 90% of the options on Photoshop; my 12 year old is starting to work with it and it took me approximately three minutes to pass over my vast sum of knowledge.

And he is! It's all in the bone structure.

*cough* Girl Next Door Banner *cough* *wiggles eyebrows* :)

Blair's so fun to play with though *is shameless* You're right about the bone structure though, I think it's impossible to make a bad Blair icon :3

Love those last two of Blair - he looks very primal and shamanic, almost aboriginal...

Yes he does! It wasn't planned but I think it's a really good look for him :D

Thanks hunnie! :) The icon set I mentioned to you just isn't happening *perseveres* so I'll keep you posted on that one. Dark Blair is obviously my comfort zone XD so I'm glad you like.

I think what is so interesting is that most Blair icons are all about the pretty, don't get me wrong I love, love, love a beautiful Blair, but seeing a darker edgier Blair is so cool. I'm loving this side of him too. : )

Ya know, I believe that whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger, and Blair is SO stong that I can't believe he hasn't had a gut full of the worst in human nature in his past. To me he's someone who went through the bad times and came out the other side. Pity The Sentinel ended as I would have love to have seen his backstory expanded on ^_^
