You too? That's- [Shakes her head.] And the monsters- you saw them?

Yeah. Do you know what the hell those things were?

Yes, unfortunately.

[Javert appears as composed as he usually does, a grimace on his face. Thankfully, he can understand exactly what Naomi Hunter is saying. Perhaps the translation effects, as he heard is the case, are in full effect again. He arches an eye brow at the young woman, his mouth pressed thin and firm.]

You are still surprised by illogical events. Bad habit in this place.

[She's a bit surprised that she can understand him perfectly (instead of just his broken English), but there really are more pressing matters at hand.]

Yes, I suppose so, but I fully believe that every action in this place has a meaning behind it, just like the real world. These events aren't just programmed to appear randomly. Something or someone has to start the wrecking ball.

[He flashes a grim smile, a narrow glimpse of teeth.]

Or it is subject to a pattern, but no. It is not random.

A pattern? [Well, he does have a point. And while something as grand as this has never occurred before, the woman would be lying if she said strange things didn't happen all of the time.]

There may be some truth to that.

[scientize]

And I can understand you again, finally. [Glances up to him, eying Snake across the broadcast.] You look just as surprised as I do, Snake.

[Slowly.] What's going on with us? Is there something destabilizing Somarium or is just the Overlord playing a much higher risk game with us or- [She pauses mid-sentence, her mind hard at work trying to put the pieces together. She's slept longer now than she has in the last few weeks, but she still doesn't feel like she's at her best.]

Do you remember seeing me in the warehouse? With Frank?

[scientize]

The same happened to Frank and I. I felt frozen, unable to move. Not that I would have much chance at defending them. [And Loki had the same experience too. She'll have to keep that in mind.]

I believe quite a few of us were under that same impression, but then we all woke up normally in our homes.

Voice; I am clearly the best student for tagging in class. :V

[As opposed to the last time you spoke to him, Naoya is calm. Almost deadly calm.]

This is a dream world, Dr. Hunter. And what just happened...

[He goes silent, but doesn't end the call. Naoya lets out a slow breath. He doesn't like any of the possibilities.]

I don't believe it bodes well for the stability of this place.

[Neither does she.] I hate to admit it, but I agree with you entirely. I've been within Somarium for so long and never has something like this happened before.

...I have cause to believe that to be the reverse of Somarium. A world of nightmares.
