Have you been to Turkey? My mom and dad are going in a week and I was wondering how it is for Americans

I haven't been to Turkey (yet haha).

I hear that it is fairly friendly to foreigners but tell them to watch out for middle eastern scammers (eg. conmen roping tourists in to pay high prices for fake carpets and antiques).
