But between the temporospatial abnormalities caused by the (still active, still unstudied) astrological phenomenon, the complications involved in saving refugees from a disaster which has yet to happen (and who also exist here, thirty years younger), the struggle to treat the illness Kirk's counterpart has come down with (which, since so many of the refugees have it as well, can't be just the vacuum sickness McCoy had expected), and Spock's counterpart showing up out of nowhere, this mission
