I just became officially the last person to see The End of Time part II. I think David should have gotten a Brit Emmy for it. So emotionally hard hitting. I love that he does one last thing for all of his friends, just to see them again. I also love that he has the most romantic lines with the Master: "Who would I be ( Read more... )

Yeah, I saw the first half but couldn't see the second half because I had no access. I was banned from my dling comm, didn't see it on BBC America and dling from other sites took FOREVER. I finally added it to my Netflix queue when it was avail and just got it the other day.

It was really powerful.You could feel time literally slipping away from him and it was so hard to watch him confront his mortality and still do the right thing. I thought his most real moment was when Wilf was in the chamber and Ten tells him that he's pretty insignificant and that he, the Doctor, has so much potential to do so much good. It was one of those shockingly honest moments. Yeah, he sounds like a dick, but it's true. It's one of those things you would never say, and you like to think aren't true, but some lives do have more potential than others. But he still switches places with him.
