Show and Episode title: Fringe - Ability (01x14)
Review: I love this episode because it's a real turning point in the show. Up until this point, it's like you're just watching a series of interesting stand-alone episodes, but when we get to Ability, we really begin to realize that there's a much bigger, more complicated story going on here. This is when Olivia becomes more than just the eyes through which we experience the world. This is when we realize that she is, possibly, the most important character in the show ( ... )

Show and Episode title: Doctor Who 1x09 The Empty Child (or the episode that made me start loving Doctor Who)
Review:
I think all in all this episode was so good because it combined a really touching storyline (while not being overly sappy), a creepy child and a tonne of hilarious lines. Captain Jack Harkness also makes his first appearance. Such a wonderfully fun character. So charming and charismatic, managing not to bee sleazy despite hitting of absolutely everything. My favourite moments would have to be the Doctor’s complete bafflement when the phone in the TARDIS starts ringing and the fact that he just asks the phone why it’s ringing, also Jack and Rose’s drinks on top of the ship and the reveal that he’s actually trying to con them. I find it amusing because Rose gets so swoony (as would anyone) but you know she’d loves the Doctor most.

Show and Episode title: Babylon 5, "The Long Night" (4x05)
Review: Season four is when everything really comes together in B5, and choosing one episode out of so many that fit so closely together is hard. What I particularly love about this episode is the way it highlights the growth and change of three characters: G'Kar, Londo, and Vir. All three characters fit very clear and specific roles at the beginning of the series, and all three have changed substantially by this point--more than most characters ever do. G'Kar and Londo grow from an impulsive fighter and a washed-up alcoholic into thoughtful leaders, and this episode shows that nicely (though not quite as clearly as the following episode, especially for Londo). But it's Vir who's heartbreaking in this episode, because it not only shows hos he's changed, but also forces him to change further, in ways that he (and perhaps we) never wanted to see.

Show and Episode title:Doctor Who- The Eleventh Hour
Review:This episode is the very first featuring Matt Smith as The Doctor, and it is awesome. He portrays the doctor as a spunky, silly man. He's almost ADD, jumping from thought to thought without explaining his train of though. In this episode, we meet Amy, the Doctor's new companion. She, and her boyfriend, Rory, help the doctor fight 'Prisoner Zero'. At the same time, the Doctor must figure out a way to prevent the Prisoner's guard from destroying the Earth. The Doctor yet again displays his brilliance in a dangerous situation. I loved this episode, and I think it's one of the best in series five. The dialogue is great, the acting is great, and it's a wonderful way to bring in the new Doctor.
