Show and Episode title: Doctor Who: THE PARTING OF THE WAYS
Review:
WHO IS THIS LYNDA CHICK AND WHY IS THE DOCTOR LOOKING AT HER? Well never mind that, crap is going down and as per usual (or what will become usual on another show) Harkness is rallying the troops and being pretty standardly flamboyant, the Jack we'll all come to love. A particular highlight includes two liplocks on his behalf: UNF.
Nine is being all angsty (which I kind of love) and sends Rose in TARDIS, out of harms way. Here I am sitting here thinking, oh BBC what are you doing? The Doc can't die without his Rose when BAM! ROSE GOES ALL BAD WOLF ON OUR ASSES.
The writing for this scene was just wonderful, Rose's speech in particular and it was obvious someone had just been gagging to use the line “I think you need a doctor”.
NEEDLESS TO SAY I CRIED WITH JOY (the kiss!) & SADNESS (NIIIINNNEEE!) and all round epic episodes were to be had.

Show and Episode title: Dark Skies 'Ancient Future'
Review:A campfire. Wolves howl in the distance. The camera pans back and a caption informs us that it is 100BC and we're in Alaska. As it pans back we see a Native Alaskan tribe gathered round the fire, the men chewing while women cook meat over the fire. The camera follows the ash into the sky and the glowing embers merge into the starlight. The camera returns to the tribespeople intercut with a light in the sky getting brighter. The tribespeople look up, gasps, as the light shoots across the sky. A man wakes up and looks over to the knife on the bedside table that is quivering and slowly rotating. We are in 1964 and the present day of 'Dark Skies'. The man looks quizzically at the knife before crossing to the window and looking out on the dark landscape in the direction the the knife points. Next we see him in a truck, then walking though light woodlands to a clearing where several large rocks begin to float in the air. The man looks on incredulously ( ... )

Doctor Who - Journey's End
Review:
There is running, and screaming. Also badly translated foreign languages and "space hopping" as my grandma liked to call it. There are children that aren't kids any more, there is time, a lot of too little time, a forged way that could lead either path but ends up going both ways. A lot of sexiness can be found but if the general public finds it appealing is not exactly clear. Things are being destroyed, reborn, never gone, killed, not dead, loved, hated, sad, happy ...
Oh but why am I even telling you all this semi-poetic garbage. It's Doctor Who, it's a finale episode. Of course it's over the top, of course it's amazing - watch it!

Review:Considering the amount of crazy that went down in concern with this show, it is fascinating to think that, in the beginning it simply seems to be a show about a bunch of weirdoes that were to stupid to follow the simplest of rules - "Please fasten your ( ... )

Show and Episode title: Stargate SG-1 "200"
Review: The entire episode is about coming up with ideas for the 'Wormhole X-Treme' movie with tons of little winks at the faithful Stargate fan. The first shot of the episode is of the team finally meeting the furlings, a race that had been mentioned 8 seasons prior and never seen. Turns out they're coming up with ideas for the movie. A few ideas come from Vala, such as a story based off of The Wizard of Oz and a wedding between two of the main characters. Other stories deal with scenes from Farscape, Star Trek, a zombie film, and Team America. All the little winks and nods is what makes this episode really enjoyable and a great pickup to a dull day.

Show and Episode title: Stargate Universe "Time"
Review: This is my absolute favorite episode of Stargate Universe. It dealt with multiple timelines and timeloops, which meant the audience was in for a fun and mindblowing ride. The Destiny crew gates to a planet where they discover a kino with a video of ( ... )
