Round 12: Rules and Info
IMPORTANT: If you made two claims, please be aware that you can only use the Set A table/themes/categories for ONE of your claims and then you MUST use Set B table/themes/categories for your other claim! You can only enter the set A with one claim and Set B with the other claim.
Also, please remember that there are 15 themes, 2 category sets and an artist choice set!
This post contains all the information you need to enter your icons.
DON'T FORGET: Try to comment on everyone's entries and leave them positive feedback!And please do not bash any person's pairing!
Round 12 Rules:
• Icons must be made originally for this challenge, no prior work may be submitted. If it is found that you do submit previous work, you will be disqualified from the next challenge.
• All work must be your own, not someone elses.
• Make sure all images are PG rated. Meaning no nudity, etc.
• Icons must fit the livejournal standard, under 40 kb, 100x100px and in either .png, .gif, or .jpg file format.
• Try to have as many icons with both characters as possible. If you can try to limit the amount of icons that only have one of the characters to 8 total icons. (Meaning the most you should have is 22 icons with both characters and 8 icons where there's only one of the characters.) Also feel free to include other characters as long as your two main characters are in it. :)
• When posting the finished 20 please leave 3 icon examples, not a banner, and a link to the icon post/or lj-cut to your journal.
• Post the completed icons at once
• The icon post must be unlocked for two reasons. 1. I need to be able to see your entries to post voting and 2. so people don't have to join to view your icons. (If they do join, it's a perk for you)
• DO NOT SUBMIT YOUR ICONS TO THIS POST
• ALL entries are moderated, which means that I have to accept the entyry before it's made visible to the public.
• Please use the provided table to post your icons for convenience. (of course, you can change the colors of the table)

Set A:
• 15 Themes - Defining Moment*, Desire, Outside, Always, Quote*, This is it*, Skin, Last Moment*, Recycle*, At Odds*, Blocking*, Plaid*, Light Bulb Moment*, OTP*, Cool Colors*
• 5 Category - Unified~*~
• 5 Category - Technical~@~
• 5 Artist's Choice.
*Defining Moment- Your icon should feature an important moment in their relationship.
*Quote- Your icon must feature a quote that either one/two of your characters said or that someone said about your ship. You don't have to use a cap from your series if you don't wish to.
*This is it- If you could only make one icon of your ship, this would be it. Make this icon everything that your ship means to you.
*Last moment- Your icons must feature a last moment of your ship. It can be a last scene of an episode, a last episode of a season, their last moment on the series, etc.
*Recycle- Your icon must contain an image that you have already used this round from either your other themes, your categories or your artist choice.
*At Odds- Your icon must feature your characters being "at odds" with each other, with their environment, with a bad guy, etc.
*Blocking- Your icon must feature a block or blocks in some way. You can use a texture so that your icon is a block or duplicate your image so there's blocks, as long as there's block(s) in your icon.
*Plaid- Your icons must feature plaid in some way. It can be a character's shirt, you can use a texture, whatever you can think of. If you're not sure what plaid is, check google images for ideas. :)
*Light Bulb Moment- Your icon should feature the moment when you realized what a good couple your two characters would make.
*OTP- This means "One True Pairing"...you don't have to have the text/acronym on it...but just for those that don't know. ;)
*Cool colors- Your icon should mainly have cool colors on them. (Blues, purples and greens)
~*~Unified- For this category your icons must be unified in some way. Whether that's through all kiss icons, the same scene, the same episode, is completely up to you.
~@~Technical- For this category your icons must be have a "technical" theme to them. Examples of Technical themes you can use: Negative space, textures, half and half, crop, Guess Who, tiled, black and white...if you think of any other's you'd like to use just let me know! :) Your icons can be a mixture of all of these themes or they can all be just one technical theme.
Set B:
• 15 Themes - Back to Back*, Snuggle*, First Moment*, UST*, Bright Colors, Agony, Eyes Closed*, No Space*, Hands, Favorite Scene*, Corner*, Deep Conversation*, Sleep, Time Travel*, Outfit*
• 5 Category - Why I <3 claim ~*~
• 5 Category - Magnified ~@~
• 5 Artist's Choice.
*Back to Back- Your icon must feature at least two of your characters back to back. You can either use a screencap that shows this or manip it.
*Snuggle- The definition for this is move or arrange oneself in a comfortable and cozy position. If you're having a problem finding a "snuggle" with your characters, you can go with a kiss or a head rest together...
*First moment- Your icon must feature the first moment between your characters. It can be the very first moment they became a couple, first meeting, first episode, first season, etc
*UST- "Unresolved Sexual Tension" Your icon must feature a moment that's a little bit awkward between the characters or when they are close together, or a moment that you think the UST is super high between them.
*Eyes Closed- Your icon must feature at least one of your characters with their eyes closed.
*No Space- There should be little to no space between your characters in this icon.
*Favorite Scene- Your favorite scene between your characters.
*Corner- The focus of your icon must be in one of the corners.
*Deep Conversation- Your characters should be having a conversation in your icon.
*Time Travel- Your icon must feature a picture from one season and a picture from different season, blended together. (Yes, you can do something like "levels" or use a mask to achieve this. This is NOT time travel that is normally seen in scifi!
*Outfit- Your icon must feature the "outfit" that your characters wear. It could be their everyday clothes or something special.
~*~Why I <3 Claim- You choose your claim because you liked/loved it. So show why you like them! You can use the same reason if you so want.
~@~Magnify Glass- Your icons would be as if you held a magnify glass up to your monitor and moved in and out. Your first icon, you subject must take up almost all of the icon. For your second icon, your subject must take up about 90% of your icon. For your third icon, your subject must take up about 75% of your icon. For your fourth icon, your subject must take up about 50% of your icon. For your fifth icon, your subject must take up about 25% or LESS of your icon. They do not have to be the same picture!
