You're more than welcome to come, but I'm staying with Dean and his fam in Wantage (1-2hoursaway)and I don't know how well that would go over with Mum and Pop. There are some bitchen' hostels in the area, though. I could give you the name of some, what's your budget? The Central Backpackers Oxford (13 Park End Street) is about 17-19 EUR (better than GBP!) and it's right near where I used to live! That's the first one that comes to mind at the moment. But if you want to meet up, def. let me know. I'd love to show you our town! xxx
