hi, can I ask, if your friend is using Tenso's address for the concert ballot?(or drawlot?)

I don't exactly know if you should add this up there as a note but I think people who will ask other people for address will need this. I entered FC through my friend, he registered for me using his own address and just like you mentioned up there you just wait for your card to be delivered to you. However, my name wasn't on the post of my friend and my card was returned to FC and they demanded me to call them and confirm that I live there to send the card again. Another thing which I heard from my friend is that you can't call from a different number (I mean different than what you registered) to confirm that you are you so my friend had to find a female who basically lied them, confirming that *I* lived there (I am not sure if this is making sense)

But apparently you need your name on the post box for them to deliver the letters and/or your fc card.
At least that's what I've experienced ^^;;

Yeah this seems to be something I'm always telling people about because Japan Post is really strict about mail delivery unlike most countries. I lost my first Arashi membership because I'd been living in Japan and asked my housemate to leave my name on the mail box after I left. She didn't and one of the newsletters got returned to Johnnys. You are lucky your friend could sort it out.

Now that you mention it, I've heard of other cases like this happening in the past too! I'll add a warning! :D

One of my friends hit for 5x20 with a Tenso address too so it is possible. I figure 5x20 is the hardest to hit for too ( ... )

Hello,

I'd wish I had such a detailed guide to fill my membership application. I did it together with a friend in December last year, and even she speaks more Japanese than me, we had difficulties in puting the adress correctly.

I used Tenso and, as you were interested to know, I hit for a con for the end of this year. I confess I did the ballot with no expectations at all and was really surprised I made it!! Now my worries are for any trouble coming in the moment to enter the dome. Did your friend attend the con already? Did they ask for more than the passport? I've heard it's a good thing to show the envelopes from the fan club if they ask for more but I'm afraid they could guess it is a Tenso adress. Anyone sharing their experiences, in case of having entered a con with a Tenso adress would be great.

Thanks!!!

I don't think there was any issue. For the concert, they just check your ticket, your fan club card and the QR code. The staff doing the checking all seem like young casuals so probably wouldn't even know such a thing as Tenso exists.

I had issues getting into the Arashi exhibition with the ID check but none at all with the concert.

That's a relieve to know, thank you!!! It seems they are much more strict at the exhibition entry. Maybe the fact that it is a smaller venue and that they have more time to check, I don't know. I hope there won't be any trouble for me. I must say I feel kind of scared, also because I'm going all alone. I will try to join a friend of a friend that lives there and also hit, at least to enter together with her, even after that we'll have separate seats. But at least she'll be able to speak Japanese if needed and help me out. I hope there won't be any need for it, anyway.

About the possiblity of hitting depending on your ichiban, I don't know either. I guess this year it was more about new accounts and them wanting people who never had the chance before to get it. In my case, maybe also that I asked for just one ticket and my first choice was not one of the big domes. We'll never knlw I guess

Would my FC membership still be worth it if I will go for an ARASHI one?
And hoping for a slot at their 2020 concert (IF there's gonna be one).

Though I also plan to join HSJ in the future! (At least after I attend an ARASHI live)

Whether you go for Arashi's FC or not is completely up to you! There's still a whole year where any sorts of events could happen, so I'd say go for it!^^
