Looong update from yesterday . . .

Well I didn’t update after my first day of work, or second or third, and in all fairness Rachel did remind me. Not that I like the Cobalt at all, but the Chevy Cobalt SS has a Supercharged 2.0L with 205HP, compared to the Corrado's 1.8L with 158HP. That isn't to say that I don't agree that foreign car companies are way ahead of domestics when it comes to specific output... but I like to keep the facts accurate! Also, the base Cobalt engine is 2.2L with 145HP, naturally aspirated. It's an inline 4 with DOHC... at least it's not ye olde OHV any more!

Another interesting specification... the '94 Stealth R/T has a 3.0L engine with 222HP. The Corrado does have about 19% higher specifc output than that Stealth engine... but the Stealth is naturally aspirated. Anyway, I am curious what gas mileage you get.

And... in case you're curious... the Stealth is returning to my possession!

I get around 25mpg with a mix of highway and city miles.

Is that the VR6 model Corrado you were comparing the stealth to?
