First day of Kindergarten

Well, today was the day. It went smoothly. I let him pick out his clothes. Luckily I've noted that he has a sense of style already and what he picked out for himself was very cute and appropriate. He even wanted to wear his "nice" shoes

Thank you. I heard parents say these sorts of things all the time before we had A. and honestly, it was rather annoying at the time, but... It's just hard to believe that this little baby boy of mine is already starting school.

Busy, busy, busy, all the time. I've got to plan a small get-together at some point.

oh my goodness. I am so nervous about my girl's first day of school. She's not even in pre-k yet! I'm nervous about that too. It's so amazing to see them grow.

I think probably the single thing that most helped with this transition was my son having been in pre-k. However, they're much more organized at the elementary school level. So far, I've had 100 times more "homework" than my son has. :)
