Life can be pretty hard sometimes, hell all the time. I happened upon your LJ while poking around online. You are courageous. So much has happened to you and you are still making a future for yourself and your son. There is no shame in making mistakes; making the same ones over and over is the problem. It seems that you have a good head on your shoulders and will make a wonderful mother. There is nothing like having a child and holding those tiny fingers in your hand.
