Edward stood before the four of them.  Mr. Jones, Mr. Andrews, Mr. Peters and Mr. Schmidt.  All faces sodden, all eyes narrowed, and aimed precisely at the center of the table before Edward.

Edward stooped to his side, and lifted up a brown briefcase, placing it on the table, under the focused light of a single lightbulb that dangled precariously
