I understand completely and made my journal friends only a couple years ago.

LJ seems to be the last bastion of semi-private journaling because god forbid you actually speak your mind anywhere else.

I never thought that I would have to do that, but at the same time if I talk about someone else I want to keep their privacy. I don't really write anywhere else so this is all I have and it's so much easier than writing in an actual journal. Oh the joys of the internet. :)

I feel the same way, Steph.
I joined a couple of groups because of shared interests, but I go to LJ to see what my firends are up to.

Yeah. I mean, this is my place on the web and I'm not going to censor myself. While I don't want to limit my speech I also don't want to offend so here we are.

How are you doing?

Okay.
Getting over a cold.
Getting set up on a blind date.
Waiting on artwork for two books I'm putting out on Kindle (short story collection and a novel).
Hoping the *right* people get laid off at work.

You're getting overa cold and I'm getting one. Glad to hear that you are getting better.

A blind date? Why did I think you were married? How did it go? Any potential there? I have to say, I've never been set up on a blind date. Not sure if I'm happy or sad about that.

That's cool that you're putting 2 bookson Kindle. Are they they stories that you sometimes post here on LJ?

How is work going these days?
