Scary Scary Lease Agreement

Today I officially recieved my lease agreement for Cardinal Village. I have got to say this thing is ridiculously scary. Ten pages of tiny, mind numbing font running seemingly seamlessly through, blurting out things like TENANT IS ADVISED TO SECURE APARTMENT-DWELLERS OR SIMILAR INSURANCE TO COVER ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE TO PERSONAL PROPERTY and leaving ( Read more... )

You probably don't have renter's insurance... Daddy said i didn't when we looked into it after the fire. However, you also probably have less that $2000 worth of stuff in your room. So it would be cheaper and easier to just replace it when it gets stolen/vandalized/flooded/burned/ect... than it would be to hold renter's insurance on your stuff.
Plus in the event of a theft/fire/flood/vandal/break-in/ect i'm sure the rents will be willing to help you out.
Unless of course you are the theif/arson/cause of flood/vandal/God that caused said disaster. In that case you should learn to think before you act, or get on some serious drugs.

Oh and i don't believe that getting mugged is covered under renter's insurance, so that really doesn't matter.
