I mad that I'm never going to be able to see you perform! Yarg. We performed last night for the 3rd time and the last some was all....bleh....It's like 190 bpm, no joke and we change directions every 8 counts. It's ephing crazy. And some of the stupid freshman cannot grasp the concept of a diagonal. If I am in the middle and you are at the end I SHOULD NOT SEE YOU...erg. Freshman piss me off. Sorry, I'm ranting. I hope you feel better sco!!! --Margaret
woa, i saw that whole fight thing. we was very very close to your face. i kinda wondered what the other people at the game thought about it. if i wasnt in band, and i saw that, i dont think i would want to be. i dint know Ben could be like that. wow.
I apologize for any over reactions that have occurred. I get super stressed out at games (due to taking responsibilty for way more things than are really my job.) However, I do not appreciate you ignoring the fact that on several previous occasions I have kindly asked you to move, if only slightly, faster, not to play in the stands when not so instructed, and to cover the drums as soon as we're back in the stands. I do not apologize for getting onto you for that. How I did it was merely a product of my mental faults.
On a lighter note, missed you at the drumline thing tonight. It was me, Brain, and a bunch of under-classmen. We had a few rather immature incidences and it would have been nice to have you and Farva around.
A set of tenors requires more maintenance than a snare drum. It takes a while for quads to take the stick bag off, undo the cover, and replace the stick bag simply because of the size of the hardware. If we rush this process, we will knock the quads over because of our precarious stand setup. Plus, it's much harder to get in and out of the bleachers with such large drums. We need more time between when you tell us "get ready to go" and when we warm up. The purpose of having subsection leaders is to help you, but to help you we need to know things, like the exact time when we start to warm up, in advance. Then we can help tell people what to do so you don't have to freak out so much

Imagine me not yelling while you read all this. I'm not in my head.sgttibbsSeptember 12 2005, 02:30:13 UTC
Just so you know, every week from now on (and every week as far back as I can remember) we like to be on the track for the warm up at 9:30 before the half

Thanks for the clock time info. Why has it taken thirty-three games for anyone to tell me this?
For the past two years there has been a major difference that didn't apply until the latter games of last year. We were at the bottom of the stands then, but now we are in the dead center. We had the perfect setup then; all we had to do was set up normally as in 7th period. As soon as Mr. Duren moved us up, it's been much harder to play. The bleachers do not have space enough for a set of quads and a person playing them on one level; we therefore have two options. The first is to carry the drums the whole time. Since we only had one working quads stand, I had to do this last year, and now our drums are heavier. This is obviously a last resort. The second is the absurd stand setup we currently use. I've pleaded with Mr. Duren to move us back down, but he won't budge. He likes how the band stays together when we're in the center of everything.
1. Being late is not prudent. I totally agree, but I couldn't help it on Friday. 2. I
