A mixed week. Last weekend was spent in Manchester, getting drunk on the company and going clubbing with Andy. Monday was return to work, and a return to football for me after my ankle injury. Today has been pretty mixed - at work my co-ordinator left, I've been roped into more work, and some of the friends I thought had sorted themselves out, haven't. Computer is getting closer to fruitition. Two monitors are now working, as is my VHS / TV card connection, so I can save videos, TV, and console outputs to MPEG.

Woo! TV card is working perfectly - I recorded the football tonight as a test, and it was great. 45 mins = ~1Gb. not too bad, especially when I have 1 terabyte if storage =D

The two monitors are all set up great too - I'll take a photo one of these days.

Work is shit at the moment though, ad my ankle is still not 100% :-(

So I'm now 23. I've gotton over the shock/scaryness now, but this year I really have to get some shit sorted - would love to go travelling and find miss perfect, but I'd be happy with 1/2.

In other news, my computer is still not doing what its supposed to, so lj updates will be few and far between, until I sort it all out. Blah.

OK havent updated for a while as I've been installing and reinstalling everything on my computer.. almost finished, just need to get my floppy driver working, make a SCSI boot disk, install Fedora and XP onto that, copy across some files, reinstall all the drivers and utilities, then remanage my 600Gb hard drives into better partitions ( Read more... )
