I've now finished reading Reading the OED: One Man, One Year, 21,730 Pages by Ammon Shea This is a book about a guy who spends the year reading the Oxford English Dictionary (all 21,730 pages of it!) House sitting rates?
I have the opportunity to earn some $$$ house sitting for some people. I would be staying over from the 21st to the morning of the 27th so roughly 6 days. I would be responsible for walking the dogs twice a day, feeding them, making sure their outdoor cat has food and water available, and watering their garden and plants every other day or so. Awhile Back Part 2: (Books 25 and 26)
25. Watchman by Alan Moore (416, graphic novel): I read this awhile back in preparation for going to see the movie (which sadly I ran out of time to see in the theater, so I'm waiting for the DVD). It is one of the only books I've ever read where I didn't like any of the main characters or find them morally redeemable, but loved the book.
