so, my hotel has power in about 1/5 of the rooms, and half of the front desk area has electricity. It's pretty dark here, and i'm not just talking about the black people. It really sucks because i've changed clothes 3 times today, and i'm still full of sweat (attractive huh ( Read more... )

in case you are wondering, i am alive. we have no power at the hotel, so i'm running my battery down. we've been out of power at the hotel since 7am, and it really sucks.

i saw some interesting things that i'll have to tell you about later.....

but i'm alive and well, just tired and un nerved...

So Emily said I should update my journal before the storm hits. I have clothes and food and I am hunkered down at the hotel for the week. We have a full house of course, but I have a place to stay, and I will be ok. I'm a little worried just because i've never been through this before, but I'm having fun with it. I drove from wisconsin dells wisconsin to sikeston missouri today...about 8 hours.

i didn't get the job i interviewed for on friday :(

So, tomorrow I start my quest back to the Rouge. It's been a nice lil get away back to wisconsin, and now I can't wait to come back. I've accomplished alot in the last 4 days.
