So having said how fed-up and lonely I was in my last post-- like a whiny, over-dramatic bitch, as I seem to be quite a lot recently (sorry about that)-- things took a bit of a turn for the better. daunted_fury has added herself (coincidentally or otherwise) as a reader of my journal-- Welcome to you-- and I've also made a selection of new friends

Why thank you.
I hate making new friends in new places sometimes. I mean, I get on with most people and can hang out with just about anyone, but finding someone who wants to discuss the things I want to discuss, or discuss ANYTHING that interests me is sometimes difficult.
I'm fed-up and lonely and I have friends where I am, so... at least your whiny-ness makes sense... mine is senseless.

The silly thing is, I'm not in a new place-- I'm actually back "home" after I graduated, but almost everyone I knew has gone off in different directions and I had to start again from scratch. Perhaps looking at the town like a new home would be a good way to deal with the situation... I might try that out as a learning experience, if nothing else.

Ahhhh... yeah I can't imagine going back HOME and trying to start up. All the friends I knew there have gone off or gotten married and had babies. And you can't go partying with people who have to change diapers.

Well I mean, you could, but it'd be kinda irresponsible of them.
