I have had two spider situations in 24hours. Last night I can home to find a sizeable spider on the ceiling. Spider phobics will know that on the ceiling is the least manageable situation. I am solo in the flat. Spider is on the floor. I can trap it under a (big) glass and with much huffing and panting and crying and wailing and shaking, I can ( Read more... )

I went mental with bug spray once, and found a really huge one dead outside my door. Like he hit my invisible poison barrier and died then and there. Problem is, I find them nearly as terrifying dead as alive!

They always lurk in the bathroom here, too. I had to go out to a cafe to wee last time!

Man that sounds terrifying. For the last few days i had one of those ones that looks like the facehugger from alien lurking in my room! It was pure evil because when i first found it it was playing dead and when my dad went to find it it had vanished! This happened more than once too! finally it had decided to veture out onto the floor yesterday morning and Max got rid of it for me (she stayed over).

I hate spiders. Also Daddylonglegses (can't spell it). there was one of those sitting on the front door of the shop and i coudn't open up on monday morning. I had to get Tasha to do it for me. stupid bugs.

*sympathy hugs for kitty*

Eeps, I hateses those big uns. I would have had to move out of my room until it had been found and captured!

I haven't seen a single Daddy Longlegs this year! See, I knew life in the city was good for something! I don't think they can get to me up here in my flat!

lol they probably can't handle all that pollution! damn country side life, it's the only thing i hate about autumn - the big fuckoff insects.

Sadly the spiders don't seem to mind, and weirdly beetles. I get a lot of beetles in my room. But I'll enjoy my lack of daddy longlegses!

*hugs you hard* I'm so so sorry. I know how much phobias suck, though mine's not a spider phobia.

Thanks! Yeah, I sympathise with all those with a genuine phobia... it's horrible!

Yeah, I'm rubbish with it too! David has gone travelling, lucky boy... I'll have to make do with calling my brother and making him come four stops on the tube to save me...
