I love gardening, and it's easier than it seems. just find out what kind of soil you have (acid/ph levels) and then you will know what to plant. Sometimes people have troubles cause the plants aren't right for the soil.
Then see how much sun/shade you have at what times of the day.
I went to Garden works with my sis recently, they have a lot of bulbs right now that are no effort guarenteed nice tall/bushy flowering plants. They should be planted by april to bloom this summer, though.

For sari fabric i would go little india. (main & 33rd). Its authentic, and a good selection. They may try to rip you off, so barter! I nevr pay the price tag (Ive made curtains galore from Indian fabric).

cool! i have to go to the store sometime soon. will have to wait for next paycheck though unfortunately. i need groceries first!
