This weekend Mom and I ventured once again to the grand state of Virginia. Friday was parent-teacher confrences so we were out of school that day and we drove up that day to Roanoke and spent the night at my Dad's apartement. This week we've had a lot of work done to out house in preparation to sell it. New carpet was put in, new flooring in the kitchen and numerous outisde and inside things have been replaced or fixed. I was going to write in my journal tonight about all the stuff i did this weekend but I'm surprisingly hyper after driving ALL DAY back from VA (maybe its all the halloween candy) so it will have to wait till another day! HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

I was studying my AP Environmental book today ( i know your shocked that I was studying) and found this rather amusing chart.  This are some voluntary hazards that Americans face, expressed in terms of shorter life span.

Hazard  :  Shortens life span by

Living near a nuclear plant : 10 hours

Toxic waste : 4 days

Well I JUST got back from Virginia. I've traveled 1880 miles to look at four colleges during my fall break. I was kinda hoping that I wouldn't like some of the schools that I visited so that I could narrow down my list of colleges to apply to... but no. I like all four of them! Well I'm feeling better today (or at least my spirits are up). This morning was so CRAZY!! I ran to Kinko's at 7am to scan my pics to make my senior ad (which was dues today) and then cut them out and tried to arrange/put the pics on the page but i couldn't find any glue in the entire house.
