Emulation has ruined me.

It is becoming so hard for me to play a game that doesn't have save states and turbo mode.

Ten year old me was not this impatient, I am sure of it.

I haven't tried PS2 emulation yet because if I do I am pretty sure there's no turning back.

I know right. I'm still continually amazed at some of the things I had patience for when I was little. In the days before GameFAQs, too! I'll never figure out how I got through all of Lufia 2 solving every puzzle myself (except exactly one time I got my brother to help). It's depressing knowing that I was able to do that before and therefore hypothetically could again, but I'll always get lazy first if I try.

Oh my god I can't even remember a time when I could get through that "fast growing bush and fire arrow" puzzle all by myself, and yet I know I have.

In my dream world where I gain some sort of actual self-control, I would totally do a no-FAQ playthrough of that and it'd be a special event.

...But even then, still with savestates.
