Though not surprising, Bioware's forums are full of straight, white, men that cannot fathom why people would want the female Hawke to be featured in promotional materials, why it is important to some people that same sex romances be included, or why some people want to be able to use the character generator to create black characters ( Read more... )

Are there any gaming forums that are possible to go to without raging?

god the other day I saw all these bros talking about how stupid they thought it was that some women have said they won't buy...Brink, I think it was, because apparently you can't make a female character. And people kept going "LOL I REFUSE TO PLAY METROID UNTIL I HAVE THE OPTION TO MAKE SAMUS A MAN" as if a game with a set lead is in any way comparable to a game that claims to let you play a fully customizable character, and augh.

I love gaming, but holy fuck I hate gamers.

I can usually go to GameFAQs without raging, oddly enough.

But it does do this thing to me where it turns me into some sort of "intellectual troll" or something where I just taunt people into being stupid and then telling them how they're stupid and why they're stupid and, really, they should stop being stupid.

So I try not to go to GameFAQs, either.

This is why I refuse to get into online gaming outside of Pokemon and why no one can pay me enough to join online gaming forums. I'd rage EVERYWHERE ALL THE TIME until I got the nickname "The RAEG Troll". :|

Siiigh, feeling exactly this. I'm having a lot of fun with their Mass Effect games, but I'm sad that FemShep doesn't get to be on any promo materials or be an action figure.

It's especially sad there since Female Shepard is so much cooler than Male Shepard.

Even if Male Shepard is really, really hot.

I think he may be the most attractive of the brown hair and stubble guys. Of course it helps that ManShep is based off a male model.

No I take it back because Nathan Drake looks like Nathan Fillion.
