A number of things.
[ like remove despots and stuff... (unsure) ]

I see.
[in her arms, annalee stirs a little, but shirley keeps her attention to ezio.]

he only shrugs. ]

she tilts her head slightly, considering. but still, she is going to be equally stubborn as he is.]
You should rest.

I will.
[ he gives her a mild look. ]

Otherwise, the little shadow may wear you out when she sees you again.
[but hey, she is turning completely and starting to walk away. annalee needs a bed, goddamn.]

[ WELL OKAY, guess she wins this. that was totally a shut down. gonna strut off now. and finally get some decent sleep... per doctor's orders. ]

She might look a little tired, a little drawn, but she's just glad it all seems to be over.]

But the least he can do is make himself useful. He's not much of a doctor but he's practiced field medicine for twenty years. He approaches next on the list of 'jobs a moderately sighted monkey could do'. He's the monkey for now.]
I'm Tseng. What seems to be the trouble that brought you here?
[Except, duh, the bandage. He gets out supplies for a suture.]

I had something of a run-in with a very bad kitty. I got it wrapped up, but it looks like it's going to need a bit more attention. [It does occur to her to be a little concerned about medical procedures with people who are used to red-blooded humans coming through, but to be honest, it's not as if purple blood is all that strange, compared to the last few days.] Also, it's hard to go back out there for cleanup with this bandage. Limits mobility, you know.

[Best to carry on as though it is. He moves her arm over a tray and starts to clean it after warning her it will sting. He's used to doing this with briskness so he only hopes his bedside manner is enough.] I assume it's one of those...feline like things running about? [Or a giant housecat. Possibly the spray bottle had been used on it too much and it had enough.]

Yeah, one of those things. I was on perimeter duty, and I guess I got a little careless. [Or tired. It had been a long, long few days, and she'd taken just a bit too long to move. It had been paid back three-fold when Asellus found a weak bit in the column holding a block of stone over the thing and managed to crush it. Never let it be said she doesn't pay her debts.]
Gotta say, I'm glad it's all over. Rebuilding will be cake compared to that. I'd imagine the clinic's been pretty busy, though. So I waited for a while before coming ( ... )

I'm not quite used to combat here. Where I come from, we always used guns. Explosives. Other firearms. [And his swordplay definitely needs some work, come to think of it. Maybe he'll make Rufus join him later.] At least I could be useful in rebuilding.
[He looks for an anesthetic and just finds a topical one. It has to work so he puts it on, waiting for it to numb her skin then wiping her wound the rest of the way clean.] This will hurt. I'm not sure there's any stronger drugs left. [But his hands don't flinch as he guides a needle through one bit of flesh, then the other, pulling it taut and continuing.]

This is the best place to get used to things, though. Whatever drawbacks our new forever-life might have, we'll all never not have time to learn, right? [It reminded her of Kurogane. There'd been no sight of him for a while, and she'd quickly assumed he was gone-- but it did kind of bother her. She hadn't had near enough time to learn from him. A slight frown shadowed her face before she shook it off.] It's a bit of a warrior's dream, I'd imagine. Can't die, can't run out of time to ( ... )

[He continues stitching, methodically, not having an outward worry for her pain. Worrying would cause hesitation, and that would cause even more pain. He finishes the stitches, tying off the line.] You should cut these free when they start to itch unbearably. It should be at least four days. <[Then he starts to clean them and finds a thinner bandage. It's nice working like this, and he's able to mostly zone out on the task and focus on the person.] I much prefer guns. I was trained with a sword when I was younger but I fell out of the habit after...an incident. [Mostly someone else's sword nearly murdering him]
