[Sebastian will just be over here, in bed, petting Annalee's kitten. Annalee is in a nearby chair, reading him a storybook with her slow, deliberate child's articulation.

[ and she substitutes common for italian where she can. occasionally, she looks up at sebastian to ask if he knows the italian for one word or another. your life is totally awesome, seabass.

fortunately for him, shirley takes the book, waving her away and telling her to eat a late lunch. off, annalee scampers. oh, wait, she forgot something - ]

"Bye, Fantasma!"

[ and she plants a kiss on the kitten's nose. yeah, she named the kitten "ghost." ...in italian. but off, she goes. for real this time. shirley just looks amused about this whole thing, if not as mockingly as she has been in the past. ]

[Well, that's interesting. What also might be interesting is that every time she asks, Sebastian has the correct response for her.

As Annalee runs off, Sebastian glances down at the purring kitten and back up at Shirley. He was hoping for some alone time with the cat, but Shirley doesn't appear to be leaving.]

Fantasma? I suppose that's... apt.

[ look, she knows you don't need a day worth's of bedrest for the toxin to wear off. and that could very well be a bed someone else who does need a day or more to recover from an injury. (damn, shirley.) ]

[Really, he's just here until it seems like an appropriate and not overtly miraculous time for his complete recovery.]

[Okay, FINE, he can take a hint. He reluctantly scoops up Fantasma and places her on the floor, and then stands easily and begins buttoning his shirt up all the way, so that he can put his tie back on next.]

I was under the impression she is Miss Annalee's cat.

They are popular in Anatole. I'm sure a home can be found for her.
