There is something uniquely beautiful about snowfall. It may be because of its rarity - at least in many places. Or it may be the atmosphere. The quiet can cause one to be very reflective, and the sight of it can be make one feel melancholic, or joyful, or both.
Well, it seems to depend on the person, and how accustomed to it they are, and what associations it has.
...in my case, I will say both. It snows only infrequently in the country where I spent my life before ah, weather became less relevant. You could even say that snow brings to mind this place more than any other, having been my first truly notable encounter with it. Last December, for those who were not here to see it, there was an entire week of snow and darkened skies. For a time, it seemed Apocalyptic.
In retrospect... ah, it was still a bit Apocalyptic, haha.
But. It does remind me of things.
[There's a bit of silence. And then even... more silence.]
...it seems Lenalee has gone too, now. I hope she has found her brother... and happiness, wherever she's gone.
Oh yes. I wish those who volunteered for that auction good luck with their... dates? Haha.
