There are two warriors, both fairly new by the apparent lack of disfigurements. After a moment, the taller of the two speaks up:]

"Did you hear? Apparently there's this warrior who still has color in her hair."

[asdlfjsdf] I once heard that because I have brown still left in my hair, I'm considered an "incomplete hybrid", but-

That can't be true. I'm just... I don't like to fight.

I know a lot of warriors who fight because they like to, and I don't know that they're any better at it than the ones who fight because someone has to.

Why do they believe something so ridiculous?

I don't know, really. Those kinds of things are just what has always been said.

[Tch. Well it's dumb. That's his two cents] You shouldn't listen to them, then.

So what exactly are you a hybrid of?

[Vaguely, she wonders if he'll know what she's talking about. Ah, whatever bro.]

I'm... half-human, half-yoma. At least, I think.

Since I'm still part human, I don't do the things yoma do. If I awaken, though, I will. I'll lose my humanity.

That... I don't want that!

I see. So does 'awakening' mean tapping too deeply into the mind or powers of this monster?

Erm, well... it's more like letting the monster take over.

[This all reminds him of those Vizard weirdos a little too much]

I assume it's difficult to keep it from doing so, then?

I've heard it is. I haven't had much of a problem with it, but apparently it takes something like... extreme rage to trigger the change.

Once it begins, it's nearly impossible to stop.

How'd this creature become part of you in the first place?

mudhair May 30 2011, 17:57:36 UTC
Things happened. [haha so vague] Then I went to the Organization, and the monster was surgically placed within me.

It's... a really hard thing to explain, but the process of turning into one of us is-

It's horrible.
