They used to burn witches. Well, not real ones. We could always get away or negate the effects. There was Wendelin the Weird. She liked it so much that got caught over forty times. Wendeline was never hurt though.
Muggles weren't so lucky. They died but they were innocent. We must've known they were but we didn't do anything. We just let it happen.

I never really thought about this before I came to Anatole. I used to sleep through History of Magic. It was so boring, you have no idea how monotonous Professor Binns was. He just droned on and on.
